During the months of June and July, the Radcliff/Fort Knox Convention and Tourism Commission extends the hands of hospitality to more than 5,000 visitors of the ROTC Leader's Training Course. Family members from around the country come to watch their cadet graduate from a course designed to train hard and demonstrate what it takes to be Officers in the United States Army.

Each year, the Tourism Commission hosts welcome receptions for the families of the cadets. The celebrations include refreshments as well as information on points of interest that the cadet and his or her family members may visit during their free time.

The Commission also sponsors the "Bold Leader Spirit Award", which is presented to a cadet in each company who demonstrates inspirational leadership, warrior spirit and receives high ratings from his or her peers.
