Saying that the Radcliff-Fort Knox area is a "gold mine" is not just a figure of speech...Fort Knox is home to the U.S. Bullion Depository, which stores 100 billion dollars worth of gold bullion. Viewable as you drive by on U.S. 31W, the gold vault is not open to the public.

One of the top destinations in Kentucky, the General George S. Patton Museum of Cavalry and Armor, is located on Fort Knox. The museum contains personal artifacts of General George S. Patton as well as one of the most extensive collections of tanks and armored vehicles in the world.

If it is nature that you are interested in, Saunders Spring Nature Preserve is a 23-acre park that has biking, hiking and walking trails. To the north is the historic town of West Point, which offers Tioga Falls and Bridges to the Past, two historic walking trails that take you along the old L & N Turnpike. West Point is also home of Fort Duffield, the best-preserved earthern Civil War Fort in America and Music Ranch USA, which seats 500 guests and features a wide variety of music.

No matter what your interest are, the Radcliff-Fort Knox area has something for everyone.

Best of all, most of our attractions are free!
